Event transcript
Good evening. We'll call the. 00:00:04
Quarterly town hall meeting. 00:00:06
For the city of Saint Mary's to order. 00:00:08
And. 00:00:10
The microphone is. 00:00:12
Open the podium is. 00:00:13
There and if you'll. 00:00:15
Want to come up and have any comments just. 00:00:19
Please remember to give us your name and address and. 00:00:22
Try to keep it in 5 minutes or less. 00:00:25
I'm going to start out because. 00:00:36
I'll be there, OK. 00:00:37
Only, only 'cause it's Larry. 00:00:42
And I gracious Judy Turner, 202 W Bryant. That's our fleet close. Can you hear me? 00:00:44
OK, I only have a couple of things and I really came not intending. 00:00:52
To really speak, but I totally have been. 00:00:58
Convinced to speak. 00:01:01
Main problem I. 00:01:03
There's this aesthetic type things is the downtown. 00:01:04
You live downtown. 00:01:10
You live downtown, OK. Several of us live downtown. 00:01:12
I could point fingers. 00:01:16
If you've ridden around at night. 00:01:17
Downtown is. 00:01:21
Dark umm. 00:01:22
There are only a few establishments that are open. 00:01:24
But the establishments we have. 00:01:28
They don't have their porch lights on. 00:01:31
I have a porch light. 00:01:33
Right, we have tourists. 00:01:36
And they walk around, and they avoid the dark. 00:01:38
Even Orange Hall. 00:01:42
Is dark. 00:01:43
The plum that we have. 00:01:45
We need to turn some lights on. 00:01:48
You and I have heard, Shirley. 00:01:51
Bring it up several times. How? 00:01:53
Dark it is down some of these streets. 00:01:56
There are a lot of people that like to walk. 00:01:59
Or ride their bicycle. 00:02:01
They stay away from the dark. Do we want our tourists or visitors to our town? 00:02:04
To think we are not open for business. 00:02:09
I work on several boards. 00:02:12
And where all the time trying to bring. 00:02:15
Heads to beds. 00:02:18
Or bring people to come to our town. 00:02:20
We need to turn it on. 00:02:23
Like Wig? 00:02:25
We want them to come. 00:02:26
Don't trick or treaters come around. 00:02:28
How do you stop the trick or treaters? 00:02:30
You turn your porch light on. 00:02:33
Right. 00:02:35
Same thing applies. It's not a very inviting book. 00:02:37
So I encourage you, you're not the only ones I'm going to ask to work on this. 00:02:40
But I'd appreciate if you'd support. 00:02:46
Some of our merchants. 00:02:48
Once you cross the railroad tracks. 00:02:49
Going out of town, there's a lot of lives. 00:02:53
Coming into town. 00:02:56
It's like the town is turned off. 00:02:57
I know that's probably a girly thing. 00:03:01
That turn your lights on. 00:03:04
The next thing? 00:03:07
I'm curious. 00:03:09
We have talked about it in the past and I most recently went to a tree board meeting. 00:03:10
We have trees that are identified in our town. 00:03:16
They're on a list of. 00:03:19
Historic register or whatever. 00:03:22
12 or 13 of them. 00:03:24
Do we have a truck route? 00:03:26
We have talked about it before. I'm. 00:03:30
Not pickup trucks. I'm talking delivery trucks. 00:03:33
They're hitting our oak trees. 00:03:37
If you don't believe me. 00:03:39
Ride down the street and look up. 00:03:41
You don't see the scars, Some of them are very fresh. 00:03:43
Because the trucks hit on. 00:03:47
If you pay attention you can hear them comment. 00:03:49
Chat can probably hear him coming at his house. 00:03:52
They come and they go and they hit our oak trees. 00:03:55
I know it would take a little effort. 00:03:59
But I would love to sit down with someone to show you how you can come to town. 00:04:02
On another St. other than Osborne. 00:04:07
Today I was actually out there. Chris and I were out. 00:04:11
On the street getting ready for the festival this weekend. 00:04:15
Huge delivery truck. 00:04:19
In the middle of the road. 00:04:22
Part there we could not even leave until he was through delivering. 00:04:24
He was parked in front of all the businesses on Saint Mary St. 00:04:29
We have a boat ramp area. 00:04:34
Where a truck? 00:04:36
And hand truck it in. They're already hand trucking it in anyhow. 00:04:38
But I think some attention. 00:04:42
The more terrorists we have. 00:04:44
The less safe it is. 00:04:46
Because. 00:04:49
The cars are having to go around these trucks that park in the middle of. 00:04:50
Right there, that one Main Street that we have all the brick pavers. 00:04:54
I encourage you to. 00:04:59
Look at the truck. 00:05:01
I might have had another. 00:05:05
I'll save it for next. 00:05:10
Thank you. 00:05:13
I've gotten in enough trouble as it is. 00:05:16
Larry White, 102 Sylv. 00:05:33
Saint Marys. 00:05:35
My wife and I went to the Senior Center today. 00:05:38
There's going to be a speaker about. 00:05:40
Providing non-emergency transportation. 00:05:43
To the seniors. 00:05:45
And that's what I was looking at because I'm getting to the age where. 00:05:47
Eventually I won't be able to drive anymore. Neither will my wife. 00:05:50
So I need to find out about transportation. 00:05:54
Speaker is supposed to be there at 10:30. 00:05:57
All right. We've got there about 10:15. 00:06:00
We sat up in front and we waited, and we waited. 00:06:03
They'll find about 20 past. 00:06:07
20 minutes to 11. 00:06:10
I finally went. 00:06:12
Thought that the Senior Center manager and asked her. 00:06:13
What happened to the speaker? 00:06:17
She said well. 00:06:19
They're late. I don't know if they're coming. 00:06:20
And they've been trying to get ahold of him this morning. 00:06:23
And they couldn't get a hold of him. 00:06:26
I think to myself, well, if I was going to have the speaker come in. 00:06:28
Gentleman the day before. 00:06:31
So eventually my wife and I finally left. 00:06:33
There was no speaker. 00:06:36
While I was waiting for the speaker to show up. 00:06:40
I walked around the Senior Center. 00:06:42
In the back. 00:06:45
When we 1st and I will admit I haven't been to the Senior Center for a long time. 00:06:47
When I first went there. 00:06:52
Several months ago. 00:06:54
Those rooms had chairs, tables. 00:06:57
There's a game room. There's a puzzle room. 00:07:00
He had a room when he still had the pool table and the ping pong table. 00:07:03
And the basketball shooting thing. 00:07:06
When I went back there today. 00:07:08
Half the rooms were empty. 00:07:11
No tables, no chairs. 00:07:13
So in my mind. 00:07:15
Why did the city go ahead? 00:07:18
And with the help of somebody else. 00:07:20
Don't you say that going? 00:07:23
And open that Senior Center. 00:07:24
If they're not going to use. 00:07:26
All available space. 00:07:27
In the Senior Center. 00:07:29
My mind that is a waste. 00:07:31
Of building space. 00:07:33
Right now from what I could tell. 00:07:35
Not only are they feeding the people. 00:07:38
In the main room. 00:07:40
But they also have all the games. 00:07:41
The conductor in the main room. 00:07:43
And used about everything else they do. 00:07:45
Plus putting puzzles together. 00:07:47
Is that main room? 00:07:49
That's not right. 00:07:51
I thought we, I thought the city purchased that building. 00:07:53
With the intent at the Senior Center. 00:07:56
They have individual rooms. 00:07:58
Or individual activities. 00:08:00
Not have everything in one room. 00:08:02
Now I know why that's happening. 00:08:04
Because too many of the seniors complain about that. 00:08:06
You want to play. 00:08:09
And eat in the same area. 00:08:10
That's not sanitary. 00:08:13
You don't want people eating on the same tables. 00:08:15
That you're going to have people playing games. 00:08:18
Especially in this climate. 00:08:20
We've got the flu coming up. 00:08:22
Cords were becoming. 00:08:24
And luckily my wife and I got to. 00:08:27
The COVID shot for the seniors. 00:08:29
There's not too many places in Saint Mary's that are available. 00:08:31
And right now the only one I know of. 00:08:34
Is at the. 00:08:36
Walgreens. 00:08:38
In Kingsland, so if anybody's listening, that are seniors. 00:08:39
That's where you need to go to get your. 00:08:43
Plus you have to have a prescription. 00:08:45
We doctor to get it. 00:08:47
That's changed too. 00:08:48
Texas federal government. 00:08:50
Stuck their nose in it. 00:08:52
Used to be you could get it and not have to have a prescription. 00:08:55
But now you do. 00:08:58
Also notice why we went to the Senior Center. 00:09:00
Because I don't go upstairs very well. 00:09:03
We came up the ramp into the Senior Center. 00:09:05
Right at the base of that ramp. 00:09:08
If we have a downspouts coming down. 00:09:10
From the building. 00:09:12
So if it's rain in any heart, type R. 00:09:14
All that water is going to come down right on that. 00:09:17
Entrance to the ramp for people go up. 00:09:19
And that's where when the bus stops. 00:09:21
To let the seniors. 00:09:23
That's where they all come up as in that ramp. 00:09:25
Now you're just waiting. 00:09:27
Or slip and fall. 00:09:29
That happened at that right into that ramp. 00:09:31
And I know that said he's gone through one. 00:09:33
One lawsuit about Trip. 00:09:35
At the old Senior Center at Davis St. 00:09:39
And luckily it was dismissed. 00:09:41
But this time I may not be dismissed. 00:09:44
If one of the senior strips and falls. 00:09:46
Because you've got water gushing out of that. 00:09:48
Downspout. 00:09:51
Something's gonna happen. 00:09:52
Now I thought that the director about that and she said. 00:09:54
She's tried. She's already told the city about it. 00:09:56
Phobic works. 00:09:59
And nothing's been done about it. 00:10:00
We're coming up on some heavy rain this weekend and Monday and Tuesday. 00:10:02
So be careful. 00:10:07
All right, you may put. 00:10:08
Rush on that order. 00:10:12
Different item. I'm sorry, Charlie. 00:10:18
Golf carts. 00:10:22
I'll bring this up again. 00:10:25
There is more to Saint Mary's than downtown Saint Mary's. 00:10:27
Midtown Saint Mary's. 00:10:31
Everybody that lives north. 00:10:32
Of 40 and. 00:10:34
West. 00:10:37
Can I get downtown? 00:10:39
With the golf cart. 00:10:40
There's no possible way unless they want to break the law. 00:10:42
And I've seen too many people do that. 00:10:45
I've seen so many golf carts. 00:10:46
On a sidewalk. 00:10:48
On 4040. 00:10:49
If you have stayed cheap if you stationed a cop there. 00:10:51
You're going to see him. 00:10:54
All the time. 00:10:55
They just ride up and down and walk. 00:10:56
Sidewalk and I'm not supposed to do that. 00:10:59
Now I would like to see the city work on a plan. 00:11:01
With the state so that. 00:11:03
Those of us that live. 00:11:05
Outside downtown. 00:11:07
And come downtown with a golf cart. 00:11:08
And I'm sure I used up my 5 minutes. 00:11:11
Yes, Sir. 00:11:13
Thank you. 00:11:14
I agree. 00:11:16
Mercedes 816 Riverview. 00:11:31
I didn't come to this meet man. 00:11:35
You know, I didn't know about this meeting. 00:11:37
So I'm catching up with some of the stuff. 00:11:38
In support of. 00:11:43
Yes, I've seen it, Santa. 00:11:45
You know, there are other rooms that I mean. 00:11:48
Take you know, we do the Zumba I get there and I do for. 00:11:51
Chair Zumba. 00:11:56
I can't stand up and do it. 00:11:57
But so we do. We do have that. 00:11:59
And we do have the meditation. 00:12:02
Different things I don't understand. 00:12:04
Mr. White, maybe? 00:12:06
Doesn't go to those things, but I do, so I know the other rooms are being occupied. 00:12:07
Right. And it depends of. 00:12:12
Of you know what? 00:12:14
But what you doing? 00:12:16
So. 00:12:18
And. 00:12:19
I missed the. 00:12:22
The boy because. 00:12:23
Which was last Friday. 00:12:25
I was ready. 00:12:27
For that too. 00:12:28
But my daughter. 00:12:30
Superseded. 00:12:32
Given him the wifey. 00:12:34
A surprise gift? 00:12:36
On a cruise and they left on Friday. 00:12:38
So I'd hang a suit up. 00:12:40
I'm going to close. 00:12:44
You know, because even though it's all was going on, so. 00:12:45
I I would like to maybe. 00:12:51
Said I don't have that door but didn't have much to see but. 00:12:55
It would be nice. Umm. 00:12:57
In reference to what's going on with the. 00:12:59
The planning for the Gilman area. 00:13:02
And the other one. 00:13:05
Down we street I was called the German Boathouse. I forget what they call it now. 00:13:07
It'd be nice to find out what's going on with these things in those areas, you know what I mean? Because. 00:13:13
Especially a Gilman please man, I'm a little upset with. 00:13:19
Jacobian. 00:13:23
And he don't want to give it up. 00:13:24
You know, I mean so it can move on. 00:13:26
But I think. 00:13:29
I don't know what could be done. I know this is in court and this so. 00:13:30
So as far as the. 00:13:34
Coming on inlet property. 00:13:36
The old paper mill site. 00:13:38
The next I guess date. 00:13:41
Is October 15th. 00:13:43
Is when the bankruptcy court? 00:13:45
Is supposed to decide. 00:13:47
Between the plan offered by Mr. Jacoby. 00:13:49
Or the plan. 00:13:53
Offered by the Joint Development Authority. 00:13:54
And I don't know all the specifics so I don't want to speak out of turn, but I know basically. 00:13:58
The Joint Development Authority is asking for the bankruptcy to be dismissed. 00:14:03
Which basically the. 00:14:07
Property would come back to the Joint Development authority for it. 00:14:08
To be able to. 00:14:11
Remarket. 00:14:12
And. 00:14:14
Best I understand. 00:14:15
Mr. Jacobi's plan basically is. 00:14:17
Requesting 90 additional days. 00:14:19
Where he's still trying to work with a. 00:14:24
Find another investor Find an investor to. 00:14:26
To pay for it so. 00:14:29
Whatever those exact plans are right so. 00:14:30
You know, I'm not sure that that could be. 00:14:33
Found I'm sure but. 00:14:36
October 15th is the date when that. 00:14:37
The judge is supposed to make his decision. 00:14:40
And we'll know kind of what the next step is. 00:14:43
At that point, so. 00:14:45
That's what we're waiting on there. 00:14:46
What am I doing there? 00:14:48
I believe Monday or actually should see digging by Tuesday. 00:14:51
For the archaeological 2 phase. 00:14:56
Phase two study is. 00:14:58
They're scheduled to be here on Monday, and digging is supposed to commence by Tuesday. 00:15:00
For that archaeological study, that has to be completed before. 00:15:06
They can get permission to move on. 00:15:10
And that's supposed to start Monday or Tuesday. 00:15:12
Thank you. 00:15:15
Well, how's everybody doing tonight? 00:15:29
I'm Mark Founce and I live at 310 W Bryan Street. 00:15:31
Just got a couple of things I wanted to. 00:15:35
To ask about. 00:15:37
Exit 1. 00:15:39
If anybody's gone down through. 00:15:41
The road there you can see they've got. 00:15:44
Quite a bit of. 00:15:46
Construction stuff going on, they're making it looks like they're making pretty good headway. 00:15:49
I'd really like to see. 00:15:54
Or have a. 00:15:56
I guess an in depth. 00:15:59
Presentation about. 00:16:03
How Exit 1 is coming as far as its timetable, as far as its budget. 00:16:05
I know that I don't know this, but my understanding is that as exit 1. 00:16:12
Perceives that somehow or another, the. 00:16:19
The property taxes or what have you. 00:16:22
Increase and that's what's going to be used to pay the bond off. 00:16:24
Really like for someone to speak very specifically about that process. 00:16:28
Do they write? 00:16:35
Do they write a check to the city or to the JDA or whoever has that bond? 00:16:36
To pay for it and do somebody else write a check to the bondholder? I don't I don't understand how the money moves around. 00:16:41
And I'd like to understand that just to make sure that. 00:16:48
It looks like it's on time. We may be in in better shape with the bond than anybody knows. 00:16:52
But certainly that's something I think all the citizens are very interested in is just. 00:16:58
Exactly where are we with that bond as far as paying it off and the. 00:17:03
The dollars that are that are necessary to work with that. 00:17:07
The other thing that I wanted to talk about two other things. 00:17:12
Jamie and I talked about a little bit earlier. 00:17:15
With the amount of. 00:17:19
This brunette maps aren't up here anymore. With the amount of development going on in Saint Mary's, there's probably what. 00:17:21
4 or 5000 living units. 00:17:27
Projected to be built in Saint Mary's in the next five years. 00:17:29
I haven't seen any type of a. 00:17:34
Strategic plan. 00:17:37
About Building Schools. 00:17:39
They spoke a little bit about about the the sewer situation. 00:17:42
I'm going to be kind of selfish here. 00:17:48
Hope you all excuse me but. 00:17:51
Quite frankly, all the people that are living up on Exit 1. 00:17:53
I can see my tax dollars need to go there to pay for a school. 00:17:58
Or pay for their sewers. 00:18:02
I'm not getting any benefit out of that whatsoever. 00:18:03
I think you can address it by making some type of a sliding scale or some type of. 00:18:08
Of a method based on the population of the number of living units. 00:18:13
For the developer to put down a bond on some of those things. 00:18:18
You know you're gonna have to have it. 00:18:21
And you better plan for it now because when it comes, you're going to be like, just like. 00:18:23
The county was. 00:18:29
You know, they want to hit everybody with a huge tax thing because they want to build a. 00:18:30
What a $30 million jail all at one time. 00:18:34
That's been coming around for years and years and years. That's not new. 00:18:38
But they just put it down the road and didn't think about it. 00:18:42
We need to think about those kinds of things. We need to think about them as they're building. 00:18:45
And as I say, the people who are actually in those areas. 00:18:49
They're the ones who need to be paying for because it benefits them directly. 00:18:52
And that can be through impact fees, that can be through bonding, that can be for I don't know how you could do it. 00:18:57
But I think that's something that needs to be considered with the city. 00:19:02
And not just say we're going to increase taxes on everybody. 00:19:06
It's not fair. 00:19:09
I don't like it. 00:19:10
I did want to touch on JDA. Burke did a little bit on it. 00:19:13
I'd really like to see a presentation on from JDA on two different subjects, one of them. 00:19:19
Is is detailing that Cumberland Inlet status? 00:19:24
Four years ago, when they started the Cumberland Inlet? I asked. 00:19:28
Mr. Coughlin, point blank. 00:19:32
Will the city, will the citizens of Saint Mary's, ever be liable for that bond in any way, shape or form? 00:19:34
And he told me no. 00:19:40
Well, he didn't think that. 00:19:42
Jacoby was going to have the problems that he had. 00:19:44
And, and I'm, I'm pretty sure that he's planning on like you said, picking up the the property and doing a resale on it. 00:19:47
That should worry people. If Jacoby, he's the brownfield builder. 00:19:55
He's probably the best person in the country who would know how to do something with that, with that. 00:20:00
That property. 00:20:04
And even he couldn't get the funding to make it work right. 00:20:06
So if the ADA takes the property back. 00:20:10
When they still be looking at a property that nobody wants. 00:20:13
Unsellable. 00:20:16
But the bond was already out there. 00:20:18
So how's it going to get paid? 00:20:20
You know, you you can't, you can't, you can't sell junk. 00:20:23
That's just the way it is and that may be a situation we're in, so I'd really like for. 00:20:26
The JDA to make a presentation and tell us. 00:20:30
Exactly where they stand. They can probably do it after the 15th. 00:20:33
There's really no use doing anything prior to that. 00:20:37
And the other thing I'd like to see the JDA do is a full financial disclosure. 00:20:40
Of where they take our money and where they spend it to. 00:20:45
I know they they. 00:20:48
A little presentation. 00:20:50
I want to see the financial statements. 00:20:52
I want to know what my return on investments are. 00:20:53
JEA to me is just like Debind stock. 00:20:56
When I buy stock. 00:21:00
I'll look at the financial statements on them. I want to know what I'm getting. 00:21:01
And when I buy it, I get an annual report. 00:21:05
I don't want to know what my return on investment is. I want to know that. 00:21:08
The revenues, I want to know the expenses. 00:21:11
And I want to know the same thing with JDA because they take in millions of dollars. 00:21:14
And I want to be sure they're doing what they're supposed to be doing. 00:21:18
Because at this point. 00:21:21
Quite frankly, I don't see them. 00:21:23
Really making a lot of headway. 00:21:25
I'm not I'm. 00:21:27
I'm not happy with it. 00:21:29
But I don't know if I'm. 00:21:31
Expecting more than I should be. 00:21:32
But I think JDA, they should be doing this on an annual basis. 00:21:34
For Saint Mary's. 00:21:38
And for the for the county. 00:21:40
Everybody needs to understand where JDA is. 00:21:42
And if they're not meeting the if they're not meeting expectations. 00:21:45
Somebody needs to call it out on it. 00:21:48
There's too much money involved in it. 00:21:51
Thank you. 00:21:53
OK, Councillor. 00:21:56
I'll respond to some. 00:22:04
Sir. 00:22:06
That's a bit quick. 00:22:12
When we talking about tact. 00:22:15
816 remember you drive it. 00:22:17
OK, umm. 00:22:19
Only talking about taxes and. 00:22:21
You know, slide. 00:22:24
And that don't work. 00:22:26
You know I mean. 00:22:28
And know what what he said. 00:22:29
You know. 00:22:32
Some of us. 00:22:35
Wasn't able to. 00:22:37
Produced in terms of. 00:22:39
Putting money into a system because we were poor. 00:22:42
You understand? 00:22:46
And uh. 00:22:48
So hopefully. 00:22:49
The bulk of the other the folks who could afford. 00:22:51
And hope that somewhere down the road. 00:22:55
And when we were able to carry it forever, carried on down the road. 00:22:58
That the we will. 00:23:02
Fall in line and pee. 00:23:04
Some monies or. 00:23:06
Taxes and not complain too much. 00:23:09
You know what I mean? 00:23:12
Because. 00:23:13
I can't answer for everybody as I can answer myself. 00:23:15
I know what it was when you don't have a damn scent. 00:23:18
And you were poor. 00:23:21
You know what I mean? 00:23:23
People carrying that load. 00:23:24
You know so. 00:23:26
In Saint Mary's year with a. 00:23:27
Kind of situation where? 00:23:29
Not everybody got a load. 00:23:31
However, I don't think they could do a slide. 00:23:33
When you're taxing, you're taxing. 00:23:36
Everybody gotta be. 00:23:38
You know what I mean? 00:23:40
When you come to that. 00:23:41
I think the. 00:23:44
Some folks don't think. 00:23:46
But I went through that and I think it's fair because I know I am able to do it. 00:23:48
And I pee my Fisher. 00:23:52
That's all I want. 00:23:56
Thank you. 00:23:57
If you'll indulge me, I'm going to be like the Senate, playing my time back. 00:24:06
Real quick. 00:24:10
Catch somebody? Could y'all make a presentation at one of the City Council meetings about the situation with the new City Hall? 00:24:11
Telling us exactly where we stand on it. 00:24:19
You know, it looks like it's what, a year behind moving in time? 00:24:22
And let everybody know. 00:24:25
What the problems are, what the costs are? 00:24:27
You know exactly what your time frame is. 00:24:30
On getting things moving into that building and out of this building as far as the saving, what have you with that? 00:24:33
Seems to be something that's just kind of up in the air. 00:24:38
Thank you. 00:24:41
Just to say that you know, we for several months ago we had some. 00:24:42
Initial bid. 00:24:46
Presented and. 00:24:47
Castle thought it was too much and we went back to the drawing table to try to reduce some of the. 00:24:49
Expenses associated inside the building, a new plan has been. 00:24:54
Put together and is. 00:24:59
He's being finalized with some of the final. 00:25:00
You know, engineering parts of the drawing so that it can go out forbid but. 00:25:03
The plan has been revised. 00:25:08
And should be going out forbid again. 00:25:10
Hopefully within the next couple of weeks we'll get it back out, forbid and then. 00:25:13
Then we'll have to wait. 00:25:17
What, 45 days or 3045 days? 00:25:18
At least. But ma'am, probably. Yeah. So. 00:25:21
So hopefully before the end of the year we'll have a. 00:25:26
New price. 00:25:29
For what we're looking at to. 00:25:31
Possibly try to? 00:25:33
Move forward. 00:25:34
Excuse me? 00:25:36
What needs to be done? 00:25:37
In, what do you mean? 00:25:39
What are you getting on? 00:25:40
So I mean, if you go inside there, now there's really. 00:25:42
No walls or anything, Offices in the inside. 00:25:45
Other than. 00:25:49
The conference space, you know that that's there, I mean. 00:25:50
You know they had a existing. 00:25:53
Area that. 00:25:57
Was kind of a. 00:25:58
Concave area or convex? 00:25:59
And and yeah, opposite that, that's kind of been torn down, but. 00:26:03
You know so. 00:26:07
Actually construct the walls and you know, build the council chambers to. 00:26:08
Build the offices. 00:26:12
The building is pretty much a Walmart, you know, I mean, it's just pretty much just open, open space. 00:26:14
And so to create all of those you know. 00:26:20
Interior walls. 00:26:23
Additional bathroom facilities and some of that kind of stuff that. 00:26:25
You know all has to be done. Air conditioning. 00:26:29
You know. 00:26:33
Electrical, you know, all of that that you know would have to come with that. 00:26:35
In that construction, so. 00:26:39
All right. Is anyone else? 00:26:44
All right. Thank you. We'll close this quarterly townhome. 00:26:47
Can I can I share something real quick? 00:26:50
I guess this Saturday. 00:26:53
As the Seafood festival for Saint Mary. 00:26:55
And there's one great thing I can tell you. 00:26:59
We have. 00:27:04
Rock Trump. 00:27:05
And uh. 00:27:08
And so we're looking forward to serving the meals on Saturday. 00:27:09
And, and I'm excited to do that. 00:27:14
So, so I just hear that with everybody. 00:27:17
Thank you. 00:27:19
The band will be there. 00:27:20
High school The high school band is not planned there in a competition. 00:27:22
And the. 00:27:29
And base was they were in a. 00:27:31
Try and say the word to use. 00:27:39
I like them, but they're in. 00:27:43
Turn that mode right now and so. 00:27:46
We have the JRTC from the base. 00:27:50
From the school system coming to be the honor guard. 00:27:52
OK. 00:27:56

OK. 00:27:56
